Boyfriend no longer cutting his fingernails - is he cheating?

my bf is no longer trimming his nails. He does keep his long nails clean. when I ask him to trim them he says no. is my bf cheating on me with another woman? Is he using them to scratch a woman's back?

Long fingernails is not much evidence to go. I am not a psychologist, but refusing to cut him fingernails sounds to me like more of a psychological condition.
