Does a mans sex drive decrease?

by maria
(pasco wa)

My fiancee and I have been together for five years. For the last 3 months my sex life has been at a stop by being active once a month. We had talks about this situation and he states that nothing is wrong and that it will get better, but its only getting worse. He goes out and is lying to me about going out with his friends. Is he cheating on me? I've also found a lot of porn clips on his computer and phone. Is this one reason why he is not sexually active with me.

Noel's response

It is hard to tell what is causing the decrease in his sex drive with you. It could be he is using porn and masturbating. It could be stress at work, etc. If he is lying to you about going out with his friends, chances are he is hiding something, but that does not necessarily mean he is having an affair. I suggest marriage counseling if he is willing to go, otherwise, have a heart-to-heart conversation with him and let him know, using 'I statements' how you are feeling about your sex life.

A tip - if you go for a walk, or a drive, to have this talk, it will go better. Whereas women like to have this kind of conversation face-to-face, men in general find it somewhat threatening, and tend to get emotionally charged.
