Is desiring an extreme amount of sex with your wife a sign of midlife crisis?

It could be. Some men suddenly have a very strong sex drive around this time of life. My suspicion is that we become aware that our bodies are changing (i.e. aging), and we suddenly have a strong desire for sex to ward off the subconscious fear that we are losing our libido.
