Do they come out of this midlife crisis? You said 2-5 years. It has been 5 years now. He hides away if I ask to see him. Do they connect with their feelings again and recognized we are the family. What are the signs if they do come out of it.

Sometimes it is more than five years, and sometimes it is not just a midlife crisis, so it may not end at all. A Man who refuses to look at his own role in his life might just turn out to be a grumpy old man.
