MY HUSBAND SAYS HE IS TAKING THE KIDS, SELLING THE HOUSE, AND LEAVING ME WITH NOTHING

The Question
MY SISTER DIED 7 MONTHS AGO. WE HAVE BEEN MARRIED 25 YEARS (GOT MARRIED YOUNG). my husband now says he is leaving me taking our 4 kids aged 12 - 20, selling our lovely family home (mortgage free) and giving me no money. please help.

Noel's response

The only help I can offer is that you see a lawyer IMMEDIATELY and protect yourself financially. I am not sure what the laws are in Eire, buT you should have some dower rights to the family home. Only a lawyer can suggest appropriate action to protect yourself.

 Midlife crisis??????

Hi, I am so sorry to hear about your situation.

I don't know what happens to men and this stage in their lives. When they have absolutely everything they could want and when the two of you have been through so much together, I just don't know what gets into them.

I feel for you but I would see a lawyer straight away, he will be able to advise you the best thing to do. Hang in their as I know exactly where you are coming from.
