Older man - what kinds of problems can I expect?

by Anne
(Frankfurt/Germany)

My boyfriend is 57 and i am 43 what kind of problems will i experience?

Noel's response

I know several couples where the man is twenty or more years older than the woman. If they are of similar temperament, there does not seem to be any real problem caused by the age difference.

The only thing I would expect is that as your boyfriend reaches his 70s and beyond, he may have some health problems you will have to adjust to.

Our bodies continue to decline throughout life, and as we near the end, sometimes they decline faster. If he keeps himself in good physical shape, there needn't necessarily be long-term illnesses to deal with.
