pregnant and alone

My boyfriend of 2 yrs left me and I am 7 months pregnant. He said he was no longer "in love" with me and didn't know what he wanted in life. He still wants to be involved with the baby. What does this mean?

You don't say how old your boyfriend is, so it is hard to tell whether he is in a midlife transition, or just doesn't want to face up to the realities of being in a committed relationship and being a father. I suspect it means he is self-absorbed and immature.
