to tell or not to tell him he is having a midlife crisis

The question

I think my husband is going through his midlife transition. I've tried to talk with him about his anger, moodiness, depression, sadness, lack of intimacy, and his reasons for feeling numb. He says that our marriage was wrong from the beginning and that he doesn't love me. He says nothing is wrong with him, but it is me.

Can I or should I suggest to him that he is in a normal midlife transition?

Noel's response

I doubt your telling him he is having a midlife transition will help, but perhaps if you send him the link to my website, he might take a look at it, and recognize himself in the list of symptoms on the home page.
