transient sweating

by Terry
(Seminole, FL, US)

Question

I literally get hot flashes several times a day. I sit there and just start sweating, not just my face, but everywhere. It interrupts my thoughts and work, especially during meetings.

I have had many tests, but they are inconclusive. the only thing found was my testosterone levels are 147 (normal is 280-800)and have started injections, but no luck and no change. I am convinced I am dying from a brain tumor. Help!!!!

Noel's response

I am not a doctor, so cannot provide any medical advice. A quick search online shows that a major cause of hot flashes in men is low testosterone levels. Perhaps it takes a while, once you start injections, for the symptoms to go away.

Stick with your doctor's advice.
