Inspirational Leadership Workshop - Mythodrama
A Leadership Training Like No Other
Register soon. Space is very limited.
No matter what your role at work or at home, you are often in situations that call for leadership. Whether leading corporate teams, coaching sports teams, leading youth groups or simply being the best parent you can be, you are called on to be a leader.
As you know, some people are better leaders than others. This one-day Mythodrama Leadership Training will make you a better leader in all areas of your life. And because it involves a story, the lessons you learn about your own leadership strengths will stick with you.
Mythodrama is a unique form of
experiential learning that uses stories and poems to allow you to ‘act’ in new ways that provide better
outcomes. It draws on a powerful combination of theatre practice, psychology,
mythology and organisational development, and provides inspiration and learning
for lasting change.
The psychological aspect of Mythodrama broadens your perspective and unleashes new possibilities for your leadership. It creates a context to find greater meaning in your work.
In this training you
can project your own issues on to a mythological story to gain deeper insight
into the nature of the challenges you face in your own life and work.
All this is done in a practical, relevant and down-to-earth way and is designed to engage you even if you would normally feel out of you comfort zone with a theatrical metaphor.
"Mythological symbols touch and exhilarate
centres of life beyond the reach of vocabularies of reason and coercion"
You will leave this training with:
ü a clear understanding of what it means to be inspired and therefore what it takes to be inspiring.
ü what your 'default' leadership position is (that you fall back on under pressure), and how to choose a more appropriate position when called for by the circumstance
ü insights into the timeless nature of leadership’s challenges and a renewed perspective on your own leadership dilemmas
ü a clear understanding of the significance of responsive communication
ü a sense of what you are choosing put into practice from the lessons learned
ü this new learning 'sticking with you' because it involves a story, which is much easier to remember and put into practice than industry buzzwords
